Ikea Kid Drawing Stuffed Animals
For the sixth consecutive year, IKEA Spain presents SAGOSKATT, a fun collection of stuffed toys, designed by children in a well-known plush drawing contest.
And it is that, they have the conviction that when children play, at the same time they learn, grow and develop.
IKEA afirm that playing is a right that should be enjoyed by all children, being that the patio of the house or your play room, is the most important of they life.
However, not only are they stuffed animals that help develop children's creativity, but they literally help many children sustain their right to play that each child should have. 100% of the purchase price of each stuffed animal in the SAGOSKATT collection is donated to local initiatives that promote the children's right to play.
87000 children's drawings were received, sent from 50 countries, and only six winners were chosen. These characters were featured in a cardboard castle of repurposed boxes.
Jorge Santoyo Henaine, Product Developer at IKEA Children, explains that it was not an easy selection of winners, as many creative and wonderful drawings were received.
Gurki is a cucumber. I love eating cucumber and I hope that when playing with Gurki, other children also love to eat cucumber. I wanted to try something new and I hope Gurki is a superhero for a lot of kids

I love seeing the rainbow in the sky. Although I'm worried the rainbow might be cold up there. That's why I drew socks for him, so he's warm.

My robot loves to do everything. He likes to help with homework, drawing, singing, dancing and entertaining people. He also knows how to write, read and play music. It is designed for young children and children my age. I also did it with neutral colors so that both boys and girls can play with it
(Riana, 11 years old, Cyprus)
I've made a smiling little monster who's ready to hug the kids so they're no longer afraid of monsters or the dark. I hope that, with this stuffed animal, children from all over the world have a friend to keep them company while they sleep so they don't have nightmares.
(Thomas, 9 years old, Greece)
I thought about drawing a big mouse with balloons because I love mice. Jesse loves to play with kids and I want the kids to play with Jesse and the other toys to become a family.
(Noor, 7 years, Jordan)
I've drawn a giraffe that's not like the rest of us. It's slightly different. Rainbow spins and eats healthy food. She's a little naughty and very affectionate. I hope the children play with her fondly, treat her well, feed her and give her water to drink.
(Claudia, 6 years, Canary Islands, Spain)
