J. Cole just proves he is already a rap legend.

The Dreamville rapper broke the internet when he announced his new album Kids On Drugs, aka KOD, due on Friday, four/twenty. Interestingly, J. Cole is releasing a new album about drugs on the official holiday that we celebrate weed. That's definitely not a coincidence. There are some working titles for the truthful significant backside KOD including Kids on Drugs, Killing Our Demons, and Rex Overdose.

On Mon, the Roc Nation rapper surprised his fans with a free concert in New York City after having simply announced the show on Twitter a couple hours earlier. "NYC. Come through. Couple hours from now. Beginning come first serve," he tweeted. Later the prove, he announced the new album on his timeline without giving out any further details. "New album. KOD four/20," he wrote.

J. Cole has become notorious for dropping albums with only short notices and limited promotional runs. His third anthology 2014 Forest Hills Drive was released with only a short detect window and so project apace reached platinum status. He so embarked on a short bout to promote the anthology that grossed over $16 meg with more than than half a million tickets sold including two sold-out shows at Madison Square Gardens in New York City.
